Suedois will do well to reverse last season’s running in the Summer Mile at Ascot with Beat The Bank, who also landed the Group 2 Celebration Mile at Goodwood in August. The latter has leading claims but last year’s winner Addeybb seems best with some cut in the ground and Sharja Bridge is preferred having landed the Listed Doncaster Mile on last month’s reappearance. Successful at last week’s All-Weather Championships at Lingfield, Oh This Is Us has placed at this level before though collateral form gives him something to find with August’s Group 3 winner at Goodwood, REGAL REALITY. The latter is making a seasonal debut but an entry in next month’s Lockinge Stakes suggests big things are expected of Sir Michael Stoute’s colt this season and he gets the nod. Mitchum Swagger and Zwayyan have it all to do in this company.
