Verdict

Match Maker missed the whole of last year but returned to action last month with a success in novice company before winning at Newbury on his handicap debut. There looks more to come from him but MARRONNIER is also progressing well and beat a subsequent winner when scoring over course and distance last time. Stuart Williams’ charge may just edge this and gets the nod. Victory Chime has failed to build on an earlier success at Leicester and Wimpole Hall drops back down in trip having finished ahead of Mainsail Atlantic at Kempton last month. Water's Edge is a novice winner though has only raced on the all-weather so far.
