    Verdict

    Dual Group 1 winner PALACE PIER should have the measure of these on his reappearance. He lost his unbeaten record in the QE11 in testing ground at Ascot when last in action but this looks a nice re-introduction for the Gosden's colt before heading to Newbury for next month’s Lockinge Stakes. Happy Power landed a Group 2 over 7f at Newmarket last term while Khuzaam continued his good progress with a convincing victory in the All-Weather Mile Championships at Lingfield earlier this month with Bless Him six lengths behind.
