Verdict

Sign of The Kodiac has every chance on his second to the progressive Wolowitz at the All-Weather Championships on Good Friday where he finished ahead of Illegally Blonde. But a third in maiden company is his best effort on the Turf so far and WILLYTHECONQUEROR is preferred. The latter made a winning start in handicaps when scoring in heavy ground at Nottingham on his return and there should be more to come from Bill Muir's charge. Both Riflescope and Lady Macapa kept good company last season. The former won a Listed sprint over track and trip but the latter is less exposed and could also go well on her reappearance. Ticking Away has been winning at Southwell but faces much tougher opposition today.
