Verdict

The Hannon yard can boast five of the last 10 winners but Toormore is penalised for his Group 2 victory in Turkey in September. He beat Dutch Connection to win the Lennox Stakes at Goodwood earlier and should confirm running but BELARDO (NAP) also sports Godolphin colours along with stablemate and likely pace-setter Barchan. Roger Varian's colt went close in the QE11 at Ascot in October with Gabrial back in third and wasn't unduly troubled to land the Doncaster Mile on his reappearance. Breton Rock finished just ahead of the selection when runner-up over 7f at Newmarket last term but has yet to win over a mile and the Hungerford Stakes winner Adaay has done all his racing over shorter trips so far.
