Verdict

DESERT HERO (NAP) ran green at Haydock at the start of his debut though found his feet as the race unfolded and needed only to be pushed out to beat a subsequent winner in the end. Defence Of Fort was also impressive when scoring at Ascot while Wahaaj is another unbeaten colt having defied a penalty at Yarmouth when upped to today’s trip. Silver Knott opened his account with a victory at Kempton but Goodwood maiden winner The Foxes was well beaten in Listed company before that. Dornoch Castle and Lady Bullet also came up short at Group level last time.
