THE LAST MARDI completed a double in bumpers then ran a fine race when beaten less than two lengths behind Dads Lad in a Galway maiden on the Flat. He can make a successful start over hurdles though another bumper winner, Uncle Phil, has a cracking jumping pedigree and should also be winning over timber before long. Hisnameis Mrdevitt has run some fine races in strong company including when placed behind Tudor City in a Punchestown handicap but Brookie disappointed in a Galway bumper last time. Viceregent ran easily his best race to date when beaten a neck at Cork and is another to keep an eye on while Still Ciel ran very well on the same track three weeks ago.
