Verdict
VUELA (NAP) is the standout here as she must surely have more to offer after just three starts in as many seasons and Luca Cumani is frequently rewarded for his patience with such types. She returned from an absence to beat a far more experienced rival in a Doncaster handicap and it would be disappointing were she not to progress further off a feasible mark. Pleasure Dome and Machine Learner are obvious dangers if ready to roll for their respective seasonal reappearances along with last month's comfortable Notingham winner, Fire Jet, up 5lb for that success. Taper Tantrum, cheekpieces applied for the first time, seems to be in search of his ideal trip but could prove interesting over this distance for the first time off a workable mark.
