Verdict

Love Dreams looked a talented colt in the making when winning both starts in stylish fashion in the space of 12 days last summer but has not been seen since. The market is probably the best guide as to his wellbeing and he's one to keep onside. Battered has obvious claims after a much-improved showing to land a typically hot York handicap at the Dante meeting and the Haggas-Moore combination is a potent force. First-time cheekpieces are applied which suggests there is more to come and he could well prove more than good enough off topweight but BLACK TRILBY ran really well in a competitive Epsom handicap at the Derby meeting and could just prove superior in receipt of 10lb. Akhlaaq tackles a seventh furlong for the first time and looks next best.
