Jedediah, Kandahar Run and Hyde Lea Flyer are the three for the shortlist in this and we will nominate Jedediah as the one to beat. This colt from the Andrew Balding yard has only had the two runs but he has shaped with plenty of promise on each of his starts and nominal improvement should make him tough to beat. Kandahar Run is the most likely danger as he is a colt by Rock Of Gilbraltar and he has to be of interest on his racecourse debut. Hyde Lea Flyer was a fair fourth behind Fifteen Love on his debut and with that experience under his belt he could be capable of making the frame. Tarbolton is another interesting newcomer from the Mark Johnston yard who could be worth a look in the market, but we will side with racecourse experience here and nominate Jedediah to lead them home.
