SKYSURFERS showed enough at York to suggest that he can take this at the main expense of Penitent. The latter should benefit from the drop back to this trip and this grade after flopping at Epsom and a mile on this ground or softer is ideal for him, so he is much respected. An on-form Cesare would be entitled to go close over his optimum distance and at his best he is a classy sort who could make them all go. Bronze Cannon has plenty of class but this looks a bit short for him unless it is made into a searching test, while Riggins has claims if his latest Goodwood Group 2 effort was no fluke. Even so, preference is for Skysurfers. Frankie Dettori's mount has been placed in this grade on his last two runs, relishes decent ground and sees out this trip well. He can continue the progress shown last time and go one better today.
