In depth

Verdict

Greek Well is the one they all have to beat here and gets the nod ahead of Clear Sailing, Cleaver and Prince Nureyev. The four-year-old came good over course and distance last time and this track and trip looks ideal for him. His penalty makes things tougher but the manner of that latest win suggested that he has the improvement in him. Clear Sailing was a soft ground winner over this trip at Nottingham and being by Selkirk, connections will again be hoping that the forecast rains arrive to improve his already decent chance. Cleaver would not be as good as that runner, but if the rains come he too will enjoy himself here while Prince Nureyev has plenty to find with the selection on their recent running here and his best hope looks to be finishing in the money. However Greek Well did the job nicely last time and can follow up.
