Demolition was not unfancied when scoring last time, and can follow up at the expense of Jamboretta, Snaafy, Venerable and Rowan River. Having just failed to get up over the course-and-distance the time before last, it was no surprise to see Demolition well supported at big odds to go one better at Salisbury next time. He duly did the business, and with just the five runs under his belt so far, has more improvement to come. Jamboretta was held up from her low draw at Goodwood last time, and was produced just too late to overhaul Caravel. Sir Michael Stoute's filly is on the short-list along with Snaafy who will no doubt be sent straight into the lead by Martin Dwyer. Venerable has an absence to overcome, while in contrast Rowan River scraped home in a class 5 at Newmarket (ridden by Dwyer), but needs to raise her game to follow up. All in all, we would rather side with the progressive Demolition in the finale.
