Safwa may be well treated, and is taken to get the better of Pillar Of Hercules, Padlocked and Amarna to name but three. This looks quite an open little handicap, but Safwa may have been let in lightly off a mark of 80 for her handicap debut. Sir Michael Stoute's filly seems to be on the upgrade judged by the way that she dispatched her rivals over the course-and-distance last month, and in receipt of weight from all bar one here, is taken to follow up on ground that suits. Pillar Of Hercules was earning rave reviews long before he made his debut at Newmarket in June, but when he did finally appear, he was turned over at short odds, as he was next time at Yarmouth as well. Henry Cecil's colt came good at the third time of asking at Pontefract though, and the runner-up Zifaaf has since franked the form, so he should go well on his handicap bow. Padlocked has come to hand more quickly, having won three of his four career starts, but has topweight to overcome, while Amarna has been cleaning up on the Polytrack, and tackles potentially better company now. Kyle looks the best of Richard Hannon's pair, but both of his appear exposed, and we would rather side with Safwa.
