Oonagh Maccool is interesting first time in a handicap off what looks to be a reasonable mark but is far from certain to handle the cut in the ground and preference is for Ahdaaf, who is preferred to Tanzanite. The last mentioned will relish these conditions but a 7lb rise for her most recent success at Haydock leaves David Arbuthnot's filly with more to do. Gary Moore's Amica also has a hefty rise in the handicap to overcome, while, Topatoo is now 8lbs higher than when successful at York last month and struggled off her new mark at the same venue subsequently. Della Salute would probably want a faster surface and of more interest may be top weight Wedding Party, who is gradually slipping to a fair mark and will not mind the underfoot conditions. The unexposed pair of Ginger Spice and Clara Bow are others worthy of a mention but the vote goes to Ahdaaf, who lost no caste in defeat at Thirsk on a faster last time and, being by Bahri, could well improve for today's softer ground.
