Handicap debutants such as Winners Chant, Byblos and Dedicate make this a tough puzzle to solve, however we will select proven winner Riverscape ahead of Starfala. Amanda Perrett's filly comes here on the back of a good second to the progressive Askar Tau last time over this course and distance. Experience of the course is a plus and as she is proven on soft ground, there is reason to suspect that a big run is on the cards. Tyrells Wood is held by the selection on their last run, whilst Black Rain's run behind Laterly reads well and the visor is applied for the first time. Rock Peak and Silk Hall are both consistent, but it is the presence of the handicap newcomers who muddy the water. Each needs a check in the betting as all three step up in trip, with Byblos's second run looking solid. Starfala won his maiden at Kempton last time and the stable are going well, however it is Riverscape who receives the vote.
