Commander Wish has been in fine form of late and after wins at Pontefract and Beverley will no doubt appreciate this stiff finish, however Gentle Guru could be running back into some form and gets the nod ahead of Cape Royal. Richard Phillips' filly had looked very progressive in 2007 but has yet to get the head in front in three starts this year. She has had excuses this season when racing over too far and now dropped back to this optimum trip, she may prove hard to beat. Digital should not be overlooked as whilst he is getting some grey hairs he retains his enthusiasm and will be staying on at the line. Judge 'n Jury is consistent, whilst Diane's Choice ran well last time and may appreciate this stiff finish today. Mick Mullineaux has his horses running well so The History Man may not be far away, comments that also apply to Cape Royal with Frankie aboard and Commander Wish who chases the hat-trick. At a price Sand Cat may run well for the Moore's, however it is Gentle Guru who looks worth a bet.
