In depth

Verdict

Belargus has placed over this trip and wasn’t winning out of turn over 2m here last month. LUST FOR GLORY had only one run over fences last season so maintained her novice status. She’s won at Wetherby and Ludlow since a pipe-opener at Wincanton and the form of her latest victory has been franked. No Getaway easily beat more experienced rivals over course and distance last time so also goes on the shortlist but Vinnie The Hoddie may need his first run since October. High Up In The Air is on a roll, however, though up another 9lb and Annsam and Stratagem remain unexposed. Admiral Barratry is preferred to Farinet of the remainder.
