Mumayeza, Calamansac and Inquest are the trio to look at here with INQUEST is the selection. Mumayeza ran well on his debut for Sir Michael Stoute at Kempton in June, having every chance before being run out of it in the closing stages. He has been given time, presumably to strengthen up, and he can be expected to improve for the experience. The form is no more than reasonable however, the winner has not been successful since in several tries, and there is the suspicion Mumayeza may go off a short price. Calamansac has a similar profile in that she has only raced once and run promisingly, finishing fourth. That outing was back in April and she too has been given time to mature by Ralph Beckett. The daughter of Alhaarth is respected. Inquest looks the one to be on. The son of Rainbow Quest showed marked improvement to be second last week and unlike some of his rivals, he will be race fit. The Amanda Perrett yard had a winner last Friday, suggesting they may be about to run in to form. Inquest can go one better than tha Goodwood effort last time.
