Nonrunner
A really decent and competitive handicap greets us here and the marginal call just goes the way of last time course and distance winner BROAD CAIRN ahead of Maswerte and Dukes Art. After that good looking victory the selection has seen his mark increase by four pounds and although he struggled under a similar weight on his handicap debut he took his last race in a style of an animal who has more to offer. Maswerte wasn't suited by a tactical four-runner race on his last start but having gone close when a pound better off on his penultimate effort over course and distance he should be seen in a better light. Dukes Art is chasing a hat-trick here and still looks on the up grade. That said this task looks his toughest so far up in grade and weight. John Gosden's Militarist should have more to offer with two pounds removed from his back after only average showings in these ranks so far but after looking good in scoring last time Broad Cairn is just the choice.
