MY RED KITE ran well enough on his debut and is given the tentative vote ahead of the newcomers Maas Rally and Deauville Post. The selection finished fifth of 13 at a massive price at Leicester on his debut. He is entitled to come on for that race experience and if doing so he is short listed to go close. John Gosden has a fantastic strike rate with his two-year-old debutants this season and Maas Rally has been touted as a decent two-year-old. This maiden does look wide open and the market will be the best guide to his chances. The same can be said about Deauville Post who is bound to be well prepared by Richard Hannon on his debut so any market moves should be noted. Not a great deal of form to go by in this maiden, however My Red Kite is sure to improve from his debut and is taken to score this time around.
