There are a couple of interesting newcomers in the field for this maiden including Sir Michael Stoute's Selkirk gelding Conduct but the likelihood is that it will go to one of the runners with experience with GIFT OF LOVE just preferred to Magic Jack. Richard Hannon's gelding is likely to be thereabouts again having been placed in both starts so far in maidens at Salisbury and Bath on the latter occasion when turned over at odds of 6/5 by Youm Jamil and he may not be one to take too short a price about. Simon Dow's Invincibility did not build on a promising debut effort and of more interest may be Walter Swinburn's Shallow Bay, who was narrowly beaten by Roberto Pegasus at Windsor last month. John Gosden's Piano has run to a reasonable level of form in two starts but preference is for David Elsworth's Gift Of Love, who was doing all of her best work late on when chasing home Boom And Bust over a mile at Windsor last month and she can go one better over this slightly longer trip.
