The Michael Jarvis-trained Marrayah is surely better than she showed on her handicap debut at Salisbury when last seen in June and she has to be of interest but a safer option looks to be Chris Wall's ALEQA, who can confirm her liking for seven furlongs and win her third race in four starts racing off just a 3lb higher mark than when scoring at Folkestone last month. Richard Hannon's Our Boy Barrington seems to be in the grip of the handicapper at present and a bigger threat may come from Amanda Perrett's lightly raced Bramshaw, who makes his turf debut on only his third start and represents a stable in fine form. Love Match is strictly held by the selection on running at Folkestone, while Zakiy is another to consider in a competitive contest now that William Haggas has his string going better.
