Despite this being a hugely competitive event, five favourites have won in the past 11 years and it's generally a fancied horse that is successful. The last three winners have been drawn 2, 4 and 3 which suggests CELERINA is badly berthed in 15 but Tommy Stack's filly is progressing so well that she can defy that negative. She looked like a potential pattern race performer when defeating the consistent Flash McGahon at Cork last time and though the runner-up and the fourth Good To Follow are slightly better off the winner can confirm the form. Collingwood carried Katie Walsh to victory at Leopardstown a month ago but that was over 7f and he's up against speed merchants this time. Three-year-olds have a fair record in the race so the chances of Della'Alba are respected as Michael Halford's filly was having her first start after an injury sustained last year when scooting home in a Tipperary maiden last month.
