Isphahan is the call in this competitive affair with Sotik Star and Effigy likely to give him most to do. Granted, Isphahan is far from a frequent winner but connections can have few complaints with this evening's high draw and he is likely to be up with the pace throughout. Sotik Star has clearly had a few training troubles. He almost got home over the mile at Salisbury before being reeled in close home. Effigy would come into the reckoning in the event of any overnight rain. Henry Candy's charge was formerly campaigned over ten furlongs but his recent third at Newmarket was his best run for some time. Palmetto Point was behind on that occasion. Connections keep faith with the tongue-tie that has accompanied his last few runs. Monashee Rock has two ways of running. She is likely to be running on at the death. Windsor specialist, Onenightinlisbon has struggled since going up the weights. Rock Anthem won a handicap off 68 at Southwell and while 2lb higher, the booking of Richard Hughes takes the eye. Cover Drive was last seen out in February at Jebel Ali. Jill Dawson has struggled to establish any sort of consistency this season. Jo'Burg is potentially well treated on earlier form lines. Isphahan is the selection in a trappy race for punters.
