The market will help guide to the chances of the newcomers, however Scintillo's form is head and shoulders above anything else and he gets the confident selection ahead of Tayarat and Better Hand. Following on from a decent if unspectacular debut, the selection proceeded to excel himself with a fine effort in the Chesham at Royal Ascot. Only beaten two-and-a-half lengths, Richard Hannon's Fantastic Light colt should find this company less demanding and assuming he handles the ground (sire did although arguably better on quicker), he may take some stopping. Better Hand looks the pick of Mick Channon's duo, and along with Carlitos Quest, look the most interesting of the debutantes. The market will help guide there, although Mark Johnston's juveniles have tended to need the run. Tayarat should be suited by this step up in trip and should be afforded due respect for powerful connections, however Scintillo has the form and the win will soon follow.
