Vhujon ran a cracker in the Windsor Castle but the feeling is that quicker ground will suit and therefore we will side with New Jersey ahead of Regal Step. Kevin Ryan's Statue Of Liberty colt ran with plenty of credit in a Listed contest at Sandown at the end of May and he looks sure to run a decent race here, having already proven his liking for ground with some cut in. The stable are now in better form than a month ago and he can add to their success. Western Art has only had one run but is obviously thought to have plenty of ability, having started at 11/8 on his debut. Assuming he handles this ground he should go well, along with Regal Step. The filly won well on debut and was far from disgraced in the Queen Mary next time up. Today's slower ground may suit and she makes the shortlist. Presto Levanter has already proven herself on this going so looks a big threat as a course and distance winner for Richard Hannon, whilst Cute Ass is unexposed but this is a stiff test. All in all a decent Listed race full of smart juveniles, and the tentative vote goes to New Jersey.
