Verdict

William Haggas trained last year’s winner and Montatham will be fancied to reverse latest running in the Royal Hunt Cup at Ascot on better terms with the winner Dark Vision. That pair are hard to separate and Qaysar is better than he showed in the above race at Ascot. Mutasaamy will need to show further progress raised 10lb for winning at Kempton and Redcar winner Gallipoli is another upped in class but ZWAYYAN is capable at this level as when landing a decent handicap on the all-weather on last year’s reappearance. Andrew Balding’s charge returns to action on a similar mark and gets the vote. Acquitted can do better back over today’s trip but Shelir was due to run at Haydock yesterday.
