BEACHFIRE is progressing rapidly and a 5lb rise for his win here last month looks lenient; the stiffest opposition may come from Revered and Lovers Causeway. John Gosden's son of Indian Haven has won two of his three starts and the decision not to race him as a juvenile looks to be paying dividends. This longer trip should be no bother given the way he finished his latest race here and the handicapper has certainly given him a chance of winning again. Revered, a full-sister to Visit, was five lengths behind him but that was her first run of the year and she can be expected to improve, Buffett has been beaten on his last two starts (first effort reads better) but is now 8lbs higher, whilst Veni Vidi Vici broke his duck at Leicester last time but this line-up wont be easily bossed like on that occasion. Cheek-pieces are tried on Hidden Glory, Lovers Causeway is chasing a hat-trick on this return to action and his Lingfield form looks solid, whilst Essexbridge is better than he was able to show behind Berling at Newbury but he is held by Buffett on their Windsor clash in May. Blinkers need to spark huge improvement in Muwalla, so the safest option looks to be Beachfire.
