This trip on quick ground may be a worry for Eton Forever so preference instead is for WATER GIPSY who caught the eye at Goodwood and she can see off Kakatosi and Imperial Delight. Gary Moore's Piccolo filly beat Nimue comfortably on her reappearance and then plugged on to fill fifth on her handicap bow last time. She stayed on well under hands and heels riding and with this stiffer finish in her favour and trainer's son Ryan booked for the ride a better show is expected. Kakatosi was heavily odds-on at Lingfield and won decisively from the front; he is respected on this handicap debut with Fallon booked, whilst Imperial Delight continues to improve and this course and distance winner is in at the right end of the weights. Unshakeable Will's Silver Bowl run can be ignored, Oil Strike should come on for his reappearance behind Imperial Delight, whilst Haadeeth can improve now stepped back up in trip. Mass Rally was very progressive when seen on the all-weather at the end of last year, whilst Duplicity needs to prove that this seven furlong trip is within range. A very tight handicap to call and the most tentative of votes goes to Water Gipsy.
