Stotsfold sets the standard but may find PRINCE SIEGFRIED too strong at these weights; Fatanah and Confront are others to consider. Our selection has just over three lengths to find with Stotsfold on their course and distance run last time, but that was Prince Siegfried's first run of the season and he can be expected to improve on that slightly unlucky fourth. Add to that he's now in receipt of 6lbs from Walter Swinburn's charge and we're hopeful he can capitalise. Not that Stotsfold will be easy to overcome; he's an admirable, reliable type who is at his best under these conditions but the penalty does make life tougher. Three-year-olds have landed the two previous renewals of this contest so Fatanah merits attention in receipt of lumps of weight. Marcus Tregoning's filly impressed when winning her maiden over course and distance and has since acquitted herself well in better races than this; she perhaps would prefer the ground a touch softer though. Confront had a good 2009 but this year has been below par; he ran poorly on his sole try over this distance but really should stay and is in the right hands to progress, but at this stage he's hard to side with despite the fact this is very much his grade. Once More Dubai will relish the stiff finish but wouldn't want this to become tactical and may struggle anyway to beat his stablemate, our selection Prince Siegfried.
