Shahzan House gets the vote over Polygonal, Silvaline and Millafonic in this competitive class B handicap. Michael Jarvis has already had a good season and of course is looking forward to Rakti's bid for Eclipse glory on Saturday, but before the main course, he can take the starter with Shahzan House who has put in three cracking efforts in similar company this term. The cheekpieces helped last time in the Vodafone Rose Bowl at Epsom, and this former course and distance winner who is just short of Listed class, can improve a bit more to land the spoils. Ex-French Polygonal did not get the best of runs on his debut at York and is worth noting. He looks well treated on his best form and is sure to be placed to good effect by Lynda Ramsden. Silvaline landed a bit of a gamble on Lingfield's Polytrack recently but has more to do. Millafonic was outclassed in Listed company at Royal Ascot but should be able to get more involved here and is worth considering for a place at least, given Luca Cumani's improved form, but Fine Palette will find conditions too lively. Shazhan House is taken to gain a deserved win.
