Lady Filly can get back to winning ways at the expense of Empire's Ghoda, Southern Africa and Bunditten. Lady Filly was well placed to land her first three starts before being taken off her feet behind Damson in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot, but has nothing to fear here. The only slight drawback is that her victories at Kempton, Thirsk and Salisbury were gained on easier ground than today's but from a form point of view, you can not knock her. Empire's Ghoda is another that found Royal Ascot too hot, finishing fifth in the Norfolk Stakes, but has the experience to make a bold bid. Southern Africa was not entirely unfancied when making a winning debut at Newbury, and with Gerard Butler's stable coming out of the doldrums, he can make his presence felt. Bunditten actually finished ahead of the selection in the Queen Mary but if she tries trailblazing tactics again, she is there to be shot down by Lady Filly who is taken to bounce back.
