Desert Chief looks to have a good chance of following on from his reappearance success here. Swift Oscar and Westland are others to consider as alternatives, while it will be interesting to see if King's Kama responds well to the first time visor. He was very disappointing last time and now has a little to prove. Westland is open to improvement and, like the selection, is expected to be sharper for a seasonal run. A solid pace will help Amanda Perrett's charge and he is one to carefully monitor in the betting market. Swift Oscar has won his last two starts in good style and appears to be on the upgrade. However, he does need to find more and he could be vulnerable to a finisher. Especially if Desert Chief puts in an improved display from his Lingfield run last month. Frankie Dettori only had to shake him up in the closing stages on that occasion and it is hard to envisage that the handicapper has his measure off a mark of 80 at present.
