Roberto Pegasus shrugged off a long absence to score on his reappearance at Newmarket but Pat Phelan's charge will do well to extend his unbeaten record off a 4lb higher mark and against better opposition. Brian Ellison's stable is in terrific form but Ayr winner Simonside could also be found wanting in this company, while Pittodrie Star has been beaten several times off this mark of late. Kitty Wells and Nibani both disappointed when favourite last time and the latter wears a visor now, but RED KESTREL hasn't done a lot wrong lately. Kevin Ryan's chestnut has come right back to his best this year and beat an in-form rival at Musselburgh two weeks ago. With Julie Burke again reducing his burden by 5lb, he must be thereabouts here.
