In depth

Verdict

Despite picking up a penalty for his latest win at Hamilton, the in-form DOC HAY can make his long trek from Lanarkshire pay dividends. Rookie handler Keith Dalgleish has done really well with this son of Elusive Quality, who still looks a step ahead of the handicapper. Macdillon fought off good yardstick Taurus Twins to score over C&D last month and is the main danger on that evidence as Ritual will do well to win this off top weight following a break and the potentially well-treated Night Affair has been below par lately. Fantasy Explorer and Kempton third Brynfa Boy look best of the rest.
