In depth

Verdict

Master Milliner landed a Goodwood handicap with something to spare this month and a 4lb rise seems pretty fair. He's progressing with racing at five and should prove competitive despite stepping up a level to Class 4. The question mark against his chance is he's yet to be tested on soft ground and therefore is reluctantly passed over. Single should run her race on the back of her Yarmouth success but this looks tougher - although she always runs her race. Russian Rumour's 10lb hike for a win in a four-horse affair latest is harsh and we'll go to the other end of the handicap and take GRAIN OF SENSE to progress again under Hollie Doyle after a decent effort over course and distance last month.
