Salisbury maidens often throw up decent sorts and the likes of Asjad and Zaammit are newcomers to check in the market. Richard Hannon is doubly represented, with ESCAPE looking stable first choice on jockey bookings on his first start for 227 days. He's been gelded since his promising juvenile Kempton effort and didn't run at all badly here on debut last October and appeals as one to improve considerably at three. Hopefully, he'll be ready to roll, but if not then Cape Columbus is likely to benefit after a pleasing soft ground debut when filling the minor placing over this trip. Her yard do especially well with fillies and she's expected to be prominent.
