In depth

Verdict

Geromino has proved consistent at this level, although fair to say he was a little disappointing when comfortably seen off at Sedgefield last time. He should play a prominent role all the same, along with One Fine Man. The latter represents local handler, Jimmy Moffatt, who always targets this weekend with his string and his gelding was still in contention when falling three out at Wetherby. He's expected to go close with Charlotte Jones's claim an added bonus. The choice, however, is GLADIATORIAL (NAP) for a yard which does well when raiding here and who scored with any amount in hand at Downpatrick this month when looking a much-improved performer.
