    Verdict

The interesting one is Royal Trix, not seen since October 2011 when unplaced in a Pontefract handicap behind Mince. It must be significant he's been kept in training and the Tregoning yard, hitherto very quiet this season, had a winner at Epsom this week. He needs careful monitoring in the market. Dark Templar, the most experienced and exposed in the line-up, has been running over further and it will be interesting to see if the drop from 1m2f to 6f is a masterstroke or desperate measure. Marjong, a one-paced fourth here last time over 7f, is respected with Richard Hughes up but SECRET WEAPON looked potentially useful when coming home fast and late when the penny dropped on his Windsor debut. The son of Choisir should progress from that run and is the preference.
