Gary Moore's string have hit a purple patch recently so Kryssa has to be respected on ground that should suit but preference is for the lightly raced Cool Hunter, who looks less exposed than most of his opponents and he gets the vote with Singlet and Successor rated the best of the remainder. The selection did not race at either two or three but has improved with each start this term and should do so again now that he races on more suitable ground for his pedigree. Top weight Secretary General has been given a chance by the handicapper but would probably want faster ground, while Garibaldi faces no easy task first time in this grade. Fleetwood Bay has got form in the soft and could be of interest although a bigger threat is more likely to come from Polish Spirit, who should relish underfoot conditions. Declan Daly's Singlet has not had much racing and has to be considered along with Mark Usher's Successor, who has a nice racing weight but Cool Hunter is potentially well treated for his first start on ground that should suit and he gets the vote.
