We will shortlist Shermeen and Indian Lady here and just give the vote to Shermeen. Already a nursery winner, Shermeen seems reasonably rated based on her overall form, including when winning off today's mark at Sandown last time. The form looks solid and, given that Carmenero is marginally held on earlier Brighton form, she looks to hold solid enough claims, even though the latter has gone on to score here. Following a sharpener after a three-month break, Indian Lady has come back a better filly, as her course and distance win last time testifies. Much as the third has hardly boosted the form at Chepstow last time (through which Anemone looks held), the runner-up has run well in an Irish maiden, so Nerys Dutfield's filly could yet be well-handicapped. She rates a danger but, with Call Me Waki needing to improve a lot on his debut effort, we return to the selection, which is Shermeen.
