SIR ISAAC should make up for being a beaten favourite last time by landing this handicap ahead of Iasia and Perfect Friend. With his sole success coming over this distance the step down in trip looks the right move for the selection who has found just one too good on his last two starts. The form from his penultimate run has been well advertised and makes up for the weak looking lines from the last effort and with another pound removed from his back he should run a big race. Iasia was pulled out of an engagement earlier in the week so it's reasonable to assume connections fancy their chances here. Jane Chapple-Hyam's filly will carry an extra seven pounds for a cosy success last time out which seems fair enough. Perfect Friend is nothing if not consistent and should run another good race despite a mark rise for a narrow defeat on her last start. Santefisio has shown plenty of ability in four starts but is creeping up in the weights so we instead turn to Sir Issac as our winner.
