    Verdict

This looks a virtual match between the two Paul Cole-trained inmates Scent of Victory and Barman with narrow preference for the former, who has shown the better recent form. A staying on third over an inadequate nine furlongs behind Gallant Boy at Leicester last time, the selection should be better suited by the return to further and gets the verdict over Barman. The son of Atticus has yet to prove that he stays this far. Mick Channon also saddles two with Khuzdar better treated than stablemate El Pedro on official BHB ratings. Lowe Go makes limited appeal, even in receipt of weight, in a race that should go to Scent Of Victory.
