Just six runners contest our final event and Whitsbury Cross looks the one to be on, with James Caird and Frontier the pick of the others. David Elsworth's four-year-old confirmed last season's promise with a game victory over Obrigado at Newmarket last month. There should be plenty more in the locker and he looks on a fair mark on his return to handicaps. James Caird is steadily improving and chased home the reliable yardstick Takes Tutu at Redcar last time. He could be the one for the forecast. Frontier also proved he was going the right way when a close up fourth at Chepstow last time and he will no doubt be in there fighting at death. The other three are capable of taking a hand but do appear a little out of form at present, and so it isn't that difficult a task for Whitsbury Cross who is a confident choice.
