raced freely, made all, stayed on strongly, unchallenged
rearing in stalls, chased winner, no impression when hung both ways over 1f out, lost 2nd towards finish
chased leading pair, ridden over 2f out, switched left then back right over 1f out, stayed on into 2nd towards finish
PRAXEOLOGY bounded away in style at Ripon in a manner suggesting a sixth furlong is ideal for the Dark Angel colt and that he's improving with racing. He'll almost certainly set out to make all but doesn't face a straightforward task against Forbidden Land, who posted a fine debut performance in a typical York maiden when runner-up to Repartee. There should be little between the pair but the Johnston charge is just taken to concede 5lb to the Hannon inmate. Pitcher will need to improve considerably on debut to feature and the market should inform as to expectations surrounding a couple of interesting newcomers in Dark Moonlight and Wightman.
