Of those to have run, Blaina has the best form on offer, but she didn't achieve a great deal when runner-up to Tadris, in a slow time at Ascot last month, so a chance is taken with Nawadi, who catches the eye on breeding. A February foal, she has been given plenty of time and looks to have been found the ideal opening. Blaina, bred by the ex-champion jockey Pat Eddery, has shown enough to suggest she can win a little race, but if Nawadi can put one foot in front of the other, she looks likely to have to settle for a minor role again. Dash For Cover has plenty of experience, but has yet to convince over this trip and as he is a half-brother to a winning sprinter and his dam failed to win beyond six-furlongs, it could be that he will prove to be best at trips short of this. Tiger Baby and Star Wonder have shown next to nothing, so this looks the ideal opening for Nawadi to get of the mark at the first time of asking.
