      Verdict

      RECKLESS WAVE has a substantial burden but still makes appeal. She'd looked a progressive handicapper until disappointing at Goodwood last month but that was a much better contest at Class 3 level and she now drops two levels to Class 5. Groveman will probably go off market leader on the basis of a smooth success at Bath last time and is clearly a threat off a mark of 75 and in receipt of 13lb from the selection. Golden Image has shown fair form since joining Harry Dunlop and stuck on well to score over course and distance the last day. He goes up in class here but looks on the upgrade and is added to the shortlist along with Cheeky Rascal.
