In depth

Verdict

Mill Quest showed her liking for a test of stamina when scoring over 3m here on Sunday but like Brogine was engaged in the 8.20 at Cork last night. If the former is absent, Wee Tiger, third behind her on Sunday, would represent a threat to all from the same mark. Matin D'Anjou has been in fine form over fences and makes his debut for a new yard with Patrick Mullins a positive booking so is greatly respected. VIKING HOARD (NAP) was heavily supported at Down Royal despite having shown very little over timber and though coming up short travelled well for a long way and the longer trip can see him gain compensation. Directional looks a big threat as he followed a victory between the flags by defying a last-flight mistake to score over 3m1f at Kilbeggan and still looks on an attractive mark.
