Verdict

This doesn't the easiest of starts for MISS SAPPHIRE but the three-times hurdles winner has a fine chasing pedigree and she her allowance will aid her cause. Jaime Sommers is incredibly consistent though her last two starts have been disappointing after she looked a likely future winner in her first two efforts over fences. Absolute Grit ran quite well behind Classic Theatre here on Sunday and will improve but Black Warrior was beaten a long way when runner-up at Kilbeggan though that was only his second run back after a long break. Caltex is another making his debut over the bigger obstacles and his victory over hurdles here came on heavy ground. Granny Biddy won four times over hurdles last summer and will be better for her chasing bow at Tramore.
